What were you doing when you were 17-years-old? Moriah Graham is 17 now, and when she looks back, she'll be able to say she was the youngest black female in Delaware to get her pilot license!
This girl has some major drive…she’s still in high school! Graham is a cadet with the Air Force JROTC and got her license in May. It took her a total of 14 months. We applaud her because you know it takes a strong will to do be the 1st and she never gave up. Some people don't even have their driver's license at 17, so go head with your bad self Moriah!!!
And she didn’t let it all get to her head. “Finding out I was the first in Delaware was pretty cool,” she said. “It put a little bit of pressure on me, but I don’t fly to impress other people and I didn’t fly to make this historic accomplishment. I fly because I love flying and I have a passion for it.”
We don’t know about you…but we’re pretty excited to see what comes next for Moriah. Someone who is already accomplishing big moves like this is bound to be a household name soon!
Make sure every young girl you know is aware of the name Moriah Graham, because she is living proof that anything is possible.
