Everybody knows the OG "Bill Nye The Science Guy" theme song from the '90s because we all watched that show religiously. With a new Netflix show dropping on April 21 called "Bill Nye Saves The World," the Science Guy decided to update his sound with a little help from Golf Wang's own, Tyler, The Creator.

In a recent video on Twitter, Bill Nye talked with Tyler about the old show, and how the classic theme inspired him while working on the new one. Like the rest of us, Tyler has vivid memories of seeing Nye and his bow ties on his television screen every Saturday morning before the cartoons started, and he gives Nye all the credit for making science cool.

Rebranding with a hip-hop twist is hot right now (but definitely not new). It's all about reaching that cool millennial audience. Lil Yachty, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Mike Will Made It remixed "It Takes Two" for a Target ad that premiered during the Grammys this year, and Kit-Kat teamed up with Chance the Rapper to update its "Give Me a Break" jingle.
Do you think this trend is dope or just a corny way to get more dollars?
