Crazy to believe that Serena Williams is a mom now, but she seems to be loving her new role!

Now that she’s a mom to her adorable daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian, Jr., Serena shared reflections on her own mother, giving gratitude for all of the things she taught the tennis star over the years. In a letter on Reddit, Serena gave props to mom, Oracene Price, realizing just how amazing a mother she really was.

In the letter, Serena mentioned that her daughter has her legs and arms, and opened up her struggles with her body. This woman’s been called a man was told she didn’t belong in women’s sports and has even questioned about using performance drugs (something she strongly denies). All because she is physically strong SMH!  In spite of all of that, Miss Oracene kept her cool and encouraged her daughter through her insecurities to keep working hard in the game she loves. “You are so classy, I only wish I could take your lead,” Serena wrote to her mom. “I am trying, though, and God is not done with me yet. I have a LONG way to go, but thank you.”
