Reginae Carter’s charmed life just got even better.
The daughter of Lil Wayne and Toya Wright has been accepted to the HBCU Clark Atlanta Universtiy, and Carter just shared the exciting news on Instagram.
Carter captioned the photo with, “Mama, we made it,” and “Proud moment.” Soon after that pic went up, the school re-grammed it and wrote, “Please help us welcome to #PantherPride Class of 2021, Reginae Carter, hey girl, and Toya Wright, hey ma.”
Of course, the CAU Instagram account isn’t in the business of individually congratulating every single new student, but Reginae isn’t just any other student. Famous parents aside, the teenager starred in her own episode of MTV’s “Super Sweet 16,” where she was gifted a Ferrari and BMW X4. She’s also set to appear on Growing Up Hip Hop, an Atlanta-based reality show.
And she’s not afraid of making gossip headlines either, as she proved by stepping up for her father back in November after T.I. came after him regarding Black Lives Matter.
Now, as you can tell from the picture, Mom is obviously proud of the achievement, and you’ve got to assume Dad is too – he’s just a little busy at the moment. The rapper most recently starred in Nikki Minaj’s ‘No Frauds’ video.
But today is not about Wayne – congratulations Reginae!
