This isn't an episode of Law & Order...this is real life.

According to TMZ, Aaron Hernandez was found dead in his jail cell on Wednesday with a Bible verse written in blood red ink on his forehead.

When officials at the Massachusetts-based Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center went to check in on Aaron on Wednesday morning, they noticed something was off. They then saw a Bible verse, specifically John 3:16, scribbled in red on his forehead.

The Bible verse translates to: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Hernandez was always a very religious man. During his college football years, he would read the Bible with his coach Urban Meyer every morning at 7:30 AM. While we don't want to jump to conclusions, it's safe to say Hernandez decided he wanted to let God to be the judge of him instead of actual human judges.

The family of Hernandez's alleged victim, Odin Lloyd, are heartbroken to hear about the news. "Not every death deserves a RIP," said his sister, Shaquilla on Facebook.

This entire story is heartbreaking. Hopefully, the families of the victim and Hernandez can find some peace eventually.
